Smiles and lots of them. These two were just gleaming with smiles from the moment we met that day. When capturing couples for either weddings or engagement sessions, it is always going to be a fantastic shoot. You simply cannot go wrong shooting here.


This was going to be a short one our session so I know I had to be on the top of my game. Even with a short time to capture them, I focus on the details of what is happening and make sure I capture the feeling of the day. Being a full time wedding and event photographer based in Pasadena, the Pasadena City Hall is by far my most frequent place to shoot. It never gets old. It never feels like "oh here again". It feels like home.


Upon arrival, I met them at Alexander's Steak House across the street where they would be holding their reception. My job was to only capture their ceremony but I did get a few minutes with them setting up before hand.


Their ceremony was short and sweet. I wasn't hire to capture an of their day in video but I did take a few moments here and there. You will see why I do not shoot video myself, lol.


After their ceremony we knocked out their family photos and then got to what I enjoy the most, the romantics! As we walked around the Pasadena City Hall, they were taken aback by the beauty of the location. We were also amazing that on a Friday in the afternoon there was almost no one there. Just before they arrived there were no less than 6 quinceaneras being shot so we were lucky to not have to wait. We zoomed through with a few minutes to spare and I was able to get a few more upfront and on the sidewalk before my last shots of them crossing the street headed to their reception.


What a great couple they are and I am so lucky to have been able to be with them even for the short time.
