What a lovely venue, couple, day....

Upon my arrival I was informed that the couple was running late. No problem, I was running early so I got right to work.

I love this venue. This is where my wife and I got married, so yes, I am a bit impartial.

The Thursday Club in La Canada, CA and is a single location for both your wedding ceremony and your reception. This Spanish style venue is perfect for any wedding under 125 guests.

The street entrance to the Thursday Club. You will enter in from the HUGE parking lot.

The amazing fountain will likely be the first thing you see when you walk up.

Once you walk through the archway, you will come to view where your ceremony will take place, unless you got married somewhere else and are just coming to the venue for your reception. That is an option.

Looking out the front doors, I decided to hang Miranda's beautiful dress.

Miranda has this great smile, you can't resist smiling along. Her mom got Miranda into her dress upon her arrival. We had some time to make up so it was off to the races.

First things first. The first look. David had shown up a bit before so I had him waiting at the front. Luckily we were still over an hour away from guests arrival so we were good. You will have to go to their gallery to see what I did with his groomsman before Miranda got there.

After the first look we got the groom and his posse's photos and then we still had time for the bride and her court before guests arrived. I like to make them always do a fun shot in their portraits.

In no time, it was time for the ceremony. We waited for a special person of honor, but sadly she was not able to attend, so they didn't keep David waiting any longer.

His eyes were trained on the archway, but all he saw was his courts entrance. It was a big one so he had to wait. Then everyone stood and that blocked his direct view, and sadly mine as well, as Miranda entered the courtyard.

And then, there she was. Some don't like doing a first look. But I can still see in the groom's eyes the awe he sees as his bride is walking with her mom towards him.

You have got to love these fall colors.

Vows exchanged, funny moments shared and it was done. Congratulations to Miranda and David on their marriage. Now it was time for family photos, some time alone and a big party.

Here is the location for the day
