Who knew that this venue was hiding in the hills? I have driven passed this location a 1000 times and never even knew it was there. The venue is located in Santa Clarita not far from the old pumpkin farm Lombardi Ranch on Sierra Hwy. Blomgren Ranch has so many options for your wedding, quinceañera or special event, that you may find it hard to choose.
You have a lower lawn area that is great for weddings and an outdoor reception, the smaller center lawn area that is perfect for a micro wedding ceremony and then head to the lower lawn for your reception, there is a beautiful gazebo location and you also have the barn at the very top of the hill. With this many options you can hold a wedding in size from 100 to 1500. The barn can accommodate 300 people indoors and even more on the outside area. The best part is you can mix and match what you need based on their availability. While we were there, our clients celebrated a quinceañera while a wedding was also taking place on the center lawn and I believe they finished their night on the lower lawn for their reception. There was some cross sound between the events but it was okay overall during the ceremony of both events. But once they moved to the lower lawn, we could not hear them at all. This property is probably one of the largest locations I have ever been to in my 20 years as a photographer.

There is also ample parking on a dirt lot in the middle of the property. Might not be great if it was raining, but they do have a shuttle cart to take you to the right location for you and your guests. Also, one thing is for sure, this venue takes security to a new level. You will need to make sure your guest list is accurate. If you are not on their list, you are not getting in! The Blomgren Ranch also has a specific insurance policy for your vendors. I think it was around $10 to $15 dollars extra per vendor (it may be more depending on how many people are in each company on the property). We are insured but they need an extra insurance and can handle that for you which keeps the costs down and very convenient.
