La Canada, California - Wedding Venues Spotlight

Having been a valued partner to these locations now for years, I thought I would go through my favorite venues, so here is my first city of choice, La Canada, CA.
Two key venues are in this area that you should consider.
La Canada Country Club
5500 Godbey Dr.
La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011
First being the La Canada Country Club. Located off Angeles Crest Hwy above the Foothills, and a fantastic view of downtown Los Angeles. You have a few options for wedding locations, either inside or down near their tennis courts there is an area that is most commonly used. You can also do it at the poor area, where I have yet to shoot all this time. The La Canada Country Club is available to non members as well so don't be shy. Over the last few years there has been a change in the staff coordinators, but overall their team is solid and professional. You also have a choice of rooms for your reception, three in fact depending on the size of your event.

La Canada Thursday Club

La Canada Thursday Club is certainly an amazing location. I know it may seem biased but this is where Cindy and I were married. Limited to a guest count of 125, but parking for what feels like 300, this Spanish style venue has amazing charm and you can have your ceremony outside or inside (do it outside unless you absolutely have to be inside) under a tree, in front of a fountain, near a beautiful gate or do something unique.
The venue is managed by Chris and Betty who are the most amazing people you will ever meet. Located just below Foothill blvd not far from our favorite place to eat in La Canada, Los Gringos Locos - who also catered our event. They also have a coordinator for the location named Karla of Kiss and Say I Do, but you can use your own coordinator if you want. We highly recommend you use a professional coordinator for any venue, as this will free you up and allow you to enjoy the day and not have to get involved in anything.
This location has an amazing outside patio as well as a nice front area allowing for options galore for your romantics as well as anything else you would need for your one stop venue. The inside has a large dance floor area available depending on your guest count and options for your DJ to be on the floor with you or up above in a stage area. A nice size additional room is adjacent and a great place to serve your food, set up a photo booth or allow your guest to get away inside and not feel they have left the party.
