Q: How long have you been working as a photographer?
A: I have been a full time photographer since 2004.

Q: Why are your reprint prices so low compared to other photographers?
A: The work is already done. We cover our costs to produce them for you and your friends and family. If you want to pay more just let us know. We only use Fuji or Kodak E series paper. We do not use the lower end papers that you will see at many online companies and some larger retailers. All photo orders are also hand set for cropping, color correction etc at NO extra charge, including other digital effects or alterations.
Q: Are you the photographer that we will get or are you going to send some rookie to our wedding?
A: It’s me! I have only missed one event due to being hospitalized but, I have 1 other full time photographer that I have Karen on my team, she is also EXCEPTIONAL photographers and who can be booked as your primary photographer as well.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: You have one week to cancel once you have placed a deposit with me. After that your payments are able to be used if you cancel your event and move it to a date where I can work your wedding. If you chose a new date that I am already booked then I will see if I can have one of my other photographers cover your event. If that is not possible then you will lose your payments. I don’t double book dates so your deposit is your commitment.
Q: What do you take for payments?
A: We accept cash, checks and credit cards. Keep in mind that our pricing includes tax so you are already not paying 9.75% on top of our pricing.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: I only use Olympus E-Series professional cameras and lenses. I am a member of the OGPS which is a rare honor from Olympus. Karen uses professional Canon equipment.
Q: Has your work ever been published?
A: Yes, several times. An event I shot had images used in the NY Times in 2006. I have also had work used in a few company brochures, and newsletters as well. I’ve done post cards for hotels in Hawaii. My work has also been in non-print places like web sites for radio stations like EIB network’s Rush Limbaugh and Clear Channel. - thanks Laura! Most recently I did work for an author for their book and my photography is also shown on the LA Dodgers Website. I’ve photographed work that has been used in Gelson’s Markets and WAMU (now Chase) and most recently have been chosen to provide the Renaissance Faire with their future press and event coverage. I was also very humbled to be able to provide Make a Wish Foundation coverage for a very special boy who has now very sadly lost his fight with cancer.
Q: Do you offer videography or DJ services?
A: At this time we do not. Due to the economic situation we have opted not to hold either our video or our DJ team on a permanent basis. We will absolutely recommend them to you directly. Their links are up on the right too.
Q: When you say we have unlimited time on our wedding day, how long is that?
A: We usually start no earlier than 8am and stay no later than 12 am, that’s 12 at night, so really THERE IS NO TIME LIMITS on your day. After that I turn into a pumpkin. If your event goes over into the next day, it’s ok. But keep in mind I might have another wedding to get to the next day. Generally I have shot well over 1200 photos by 11 pm for events that are all day long. But if you want me to cover your leaving of the reception, I will stay.
Q: How long does it take to get my....?
A: Your master DVD is sent out within 1 month. Often sooner if you want it and are back from your honeymoon.
Your ordered photos are sent out within 1 month most of the time. That time is from the time you order them. I still have clients who have yet to order their photos after 2 years, so once they do it, it will take 2 years and a month. :)
